To construct a pencil cup to hang from the top
of your locker, you need a plastic cup, like those that you might have in
your bathroom. These would be easy to find at Target or Walmart. A cheaper
alternative would be to use a tall cardboard cup like you would be given
at a fast food store. These cups could be painted, but it would be difficult
to fit fabric over them. You also need ribbon and a hot glue gun. Other
decorations for the outside of the pencil cup are optional, but could include
paint, fabric and buttons. Cut two pieces of ribbon long enough to go under
the bottom of the cup and come up to tie into a bow at the top. The bow will
go over the hook or be taped to the top of the locker, so be sure that there
is enough space over the top of the cup. After you have decorated the outside
of the cup to your liking, fit the ribbons around the cup and glue them to
the bottom. Tie the bow at the top, and you're finished! |
