White Sandals
White is hot, hot, hot for summer 2001. Jill Stuart added white heels
to jeans for a spicy girlie look. Try these sandals with your jeans or skirts
and you're sure to look as fresh and pure as a rosebud.
Suggestion: dELiA*s Fallon Slides, $26, in 'white'

Coordinating bags
Carrying over from last year's ladylike fall collection, accessories continue
to coordinate with outfits on the runway. This trend isn't Queen Elizabeth
II, where the conservative suit, shoes, and bag all come in the same shade
of pastel. Instead, the bag should echo the colors or mood of the outfit.
Don't match your beach bag to your bikini- instead, carry a summery straw
or canvas tote. |

Suggestion: Canvas Solid Tote, $38 from J.Crew |

Tie-on belts
These were seen worn over long, tunic-style tops, tied loosely around the
hips. Frequently, these were made of unconventional materials like ribbon,
beads, and metal chains. These belts will flatter girls who don't need to
disguise large hips. If you dislike your legs, these will draw attention
upwards to your torso. |

Suggestion: Chain Link Belt, $28 from Banana Republic |
