GN Loves...Too Faced Cosmetics

Of the many different cosmetics I have tried, Too Faced Cosmetics ranks up there with Clinique. I love Clinique because the quality is great, and because the color selection is very natural and neutral (two different things, by the way). Too Faced is something that I would compare to Clinique because of the quality - but the color selection is much more vivid and the packaging is adorable.

First, I tried Too Faced LipLiar ($12.50) in Drag Queen , a black cherry lip liner. The color was too dark for me, but would look fab on a night out and also with a black or red dress. The liner glided smoothly on my lips, and didn't tug - it was very moisturizing but still had great staying power.

Next, I tried Too Faced Lipstick ($13.50) in Hoochie, a cocoa brown with a lavender shimmer. This also wasn't my color, but would look great on girls who are dark-skinned with dark hair. The lipstick itself is very moisturizing and creamy - not too glossy, not too matte. I love this product, and will definitely be buying another color soon.

I also checked out Too Faced Duo Eyeshadow ($13.00) in Ohh & Ahh, a two-in-one eyeshadow compact with silver pearl on one side and black with silver glitter on the other side. I expected the black with silver glitter to be really dark, but it went on as a sheer black with tiny glitter particles. The staying power of both shades is very high!

Next, I tried Too Faced Nail Lacquer ($9.50) in Twinkle Toes, a sheer lavender with violet and silver sparkles. This product is absolutely wonderful, I can't tell you how many people complimented me on my nails when I wore this. The glitter isn't too chunky, nor is it too subtle. The color is sheer enough to be natural but not so sheer that it isn't visible. The perfect balance!

My favorite product is the Too Faced Bauble Gloss Ring ($12.00), which I tried in Yum!, a hot pink ring filled with wild berry flavored shimmery pink gloss. The ring is adorable, and it's so fun to wear and whip out the gloss when you need it. Be careful though, if you wear this ring to school you will get compliments - but you'll run out of the gloss fast because everyone will want some!
