GN Loves...Femme Arsenal

Lip BombI've seen Lip Bomb lip balm ($9 each) in stores before, but figured it was just ordinary lip balm that was snazzed up with a cool package. Now that I've tried it - let me tell you - this stuff rocks! Just like before, I think the package is cool - but what's in the package is just as awesome. The one I tried (pictured to the left) is PomeGrenade, a pomegranate balm. All of the other Lip Bombs have military-ish names: check out Chery Bomb (Cherry), Coconut Commando (Coconut), Semi-Chocomatic (Chocolate), and Nine-Mintameter (Mint). I wouldn't call this stuff a lipgloss, but instead it's a lip balm, because it isn't greasy like gloss is. Plus, gloss only adds shine - this stuff is moisturizing, super-softening, and even has ingredients like Vitamin E Oil, almond oil, organic honey, cocoa butter...it's heaven for your lips! This is the most softening lip product I have ever used and receives a VERY high recommendation from me. I also tried the Limited Edition holiday Lip Bomb, called Lip Bombinable Snowgirl ($8 each).  It's just as softening and moisturizing as the other Lip Bombs, but the flavor is Vanilla Ice (yum!) and is pearly. It adds an adorable shimmer to your lips. You can't get this one on the web site, but look for it in stores (try Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, and Henri Bendel). It's a limited edition product, so buy it while it's available! And then there is Body Bomb ($15 each), a solid, moisturizing perfume. It has essential oils of blood orange and sweet lime. A lot of teen girls I've talked to haven't tried a solid perfume - this is the perfect one to try!  It smells so fresh and lasts all day. Plus, check out how cute the packaging is! I use it on my neck, but you can also put it on your elbows, knees, back...anywhere!
