"I am
African-American and no lipsticks look good on me, any
suggestions?"

"I hear this one all of the
time, actually! First, never shop for a lipstick without trying it on first.
Second, you can use a lipstick base which can be anything from foundation
to a concealer - that will help to keep the color of the lipstick true. Also,
I have found that using a lip liner with a gloss color of your choice, and
one that matches the lip liner, looks just as FABULOUS as any single lipstick
by itself. Or, know that there are cosmetics lines specifically designed
for African American women" |
