"By experience
I've learned that it's best to get my brows professionally done. I like their
shape and want to accentuate them. I am starting to put a slightly shimmery
powder on the skin under my arch, is that good? Also, can you tell me how
to use brow filler to make them stand out without looking too
heavy?"

"Some young women do prefer
to have their eyebrows professionally and that is okay - but not always
necessary. The main things to keep in mind if doing at home is to pluck only
from beneath the brow not above and a good pair of tweezers (eg - Tweezerman)
makes the job much easier and more efficient. Yes, depending on the shape
of your eye, a shimmery powder on the brow opens the eye - use shimmer while
you are younger - doesn't work too well on the older eye! When using brow
fillers, shape your eyebrow first with a little brush and just brush in very
light strokes of either a powder with a brush or some of the brow grooms
in a mascara-like tube sometimes called clear mascara or in color - at one
time Jane had these vailable but I am not sure they are still on the market
- they work very well. (I have Tweezermans on my site - both slant and
pointed)." |
