Smoky Eyes
get the look...
STEP ONE: Line
eyes all around with black eyeliner (extending out & up a little on the
outer corners), and smudge.
STEP TWO: Apply a deep grey shadow to
lid - stay close to the upper lash line.
STEP THREE: Curl lashes and apply black
mascara to top lashes.
STEP THREE: You'll want perfectly groomed
brows for this look, so tweeze any strays.
tips...
1. depending on your natural coloring,
this look may be too harsh. if you try this trend and it looks too harsh
on your face, try using grey eyeliner and shadow instead, with black-brown
mascara. you can also try using brown liner/shadow instead of grey. experiment
until you find a shade that works with your fair skin.
2. if your eyes are very small,
a smoky eye can close them up and make them look smaller! if it does make
them look smaller, you can try lining the inner lower rim with an off-white
color. this makes the white part of your eye seem bigger.
3. if your eyes are very round and really
big in height, having all of that makeup around your eyes will make
them look even larger and it could look kind of crazy. if it does, apply
everything the same to the upper lid but try one of the following for under
your eye: (a) keep the eyeliner to a very thin line, (b) only line
the inner rim (be careful!!) (c) skip lining under your eye
altogether
