Color
Apply your lipstick or sheer gloss to your
lips directly from the tube or by using a lip brush. Apply first to the center
of lips , and then blend towards corners.
Put a finger in your mouth, close your mouth over it (into an "O" shape),
then pull your finger out - this keeps lipstick from ending up on your
teeth.
Blotting your lips is a good way to get rid of the excess lipstick on
your lips. To blot, kiss a tissue! You could also just go over your lips
a few times with the tip of your finger, which will blend as well as remove
some excess product.
For longer-lasting lipstick: Apply a coat of lipstick, then a light
dusting of powder, then another coat of lipstick, then blot.
