HOW TO...APPLY MAKEUP TO
LIPS

Moisturize
Forget buying a different lipliner for each
lip look you'll ever wear - all you need is one or two liners that are as
close to your natural lip shade as possible. They should be flesh tones
and blend perfectly with your lips. Try one that is slightly pink and one
that is slightly browner.
Lipliner is great for defining the shape and natural contour of your lips.
You shouldn't use it to change your lip shape, but if you're looking for
a subtle change, dab a little concealer over your lip line (blend
well!) and then...
- to make lips appear fuller: apply a thin line half-on
your your natural lip line and half-off. be VERY SUBTLE!
- to make lips appear smaller: apply the line closer towards
the inside of your natural lip line. again, be subtle!!
- to balance upper/lower lips: use the tips above for each
individual lip (on the smaller lip, apply liner to make lips appear fuller;
for the larger lip, apply liner to make lips appear smaller)
- to narrow wide lips: instead of lining all the way to the
corners, try not quite reaching the corners.
- to widen narrow lips: subtley emphasize the outer corners
of your upper lip.
