HOW TO...APPLY MAKEUP TO
FACE

bronzer &
blush
Don't use the tiny brush that comes with most blusher
unless you want streaky cheeks! Instead, it's much better to use a large
blush brush (the kind you get individually or in a brush set, not in the
blush compact). If you don't know what colors to use, try the
makeup color selector. Apply the blusher
to the apples of your cheeks. Don't worry about contouring or trying to sculpt
cheekbones. Just focus on adding a little color and a healthy flush to your
face.
If you decide to use bronzer, buy a warm bronzer that's only a little
darker than your skin color. You want to look a little sun-kissed, not fake.
If your arms, neck, etc. are much lighter than your face, it's going to look
obvious and artificial (and ugly). Just apply a little bronzer across your
face - on your cheeks, forehead, and a tiny bit on your nose.
After you've applied all of your makeup, lightly run a tissue (or your hands)
across your face to remove the excess makeup and color.
