your accent & contour
shades
Apply your accent shade to the outer corner of your eyes. Then, apply your
dark shade as a contour in the crease of the eyelid (To find where to apply
dark/contour shade: open your eye, and you should see where your crease
is).
| If you
are using a powder: |
Apply your darker shade with a soft bristled
brush (the soft brush helps control the application, so that you can apply
shadow until you have the look you desire). Start with very little color
on the brush (you can always add more later!). with your eye still open,
place the brush in the inner side of the crease, and in a soft motion, move
your brush towards the outer side of the crease. repeat that motion until
you have the color you desire. |
| If you
are using a creme pot: |
Smudge your darker color with a sponge tip
application in the crease. With your eye still open, place the sponge tip
in the inner side of the crease, and in a soft motion, move it towards the
outer side of the crease. Repeat until you have the color you desire. Blend
well - creme shadows are stubborn to blend, so make sure that you blend directly
after you apply your color. |
| If you
are using a squeeze tube: |
Apply a very small blob of the darker color
onto the tip of your pinky. With your eye still slightly open, place the
tip of your pinky in the inner side of the crease, and in a soft motion,
move it towards the outer side of the crease. Repeat until you get the color
you want, then blend. |
| If you
are using a stick: |
With your eye still slightly open, place the
tip of the stick in the inner side of the crease, and in a soft motion, move
it towards the outer side of the crease. Repeat until you get the color you
want, then blend. |
